1.
They are to obey all orders from the Ward/ Superintendent.
2.
They are to be clean and neat in their person and dress.
3.
They are to be quiet and orderly in their behaviour; noise and disorderly conduct will be severely punished.
4.
Their hours of duty are as follows: From 9am to 9pm, and from 9pm to 9am, day and night duly being taken on alternate weeks.
5.
They are to keep their quarters clean and tidy, and are to scrub them out once a week at least.
6.
All lights in the Nurses' quarters are to be put out at 10pm.
7.
Nurses and others found idling in their quarters during the hours of duty will be fined.
